Ross Leadbeater announces Welsh Tour with special guest Sophie Evans

Following his critically acclaimed solo UK Tour and two week residency at the Edinburgh Festival in August, Ross is delighted to announce that he will be coming home to showcase his debut EP in a 3 date Welsh Tour in September/October.

The debut EP is a personal collection of British songs including classical-crossover arrangements of Pure Imagination and Smile, a cover of Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, a new version of Ivor Novello’s Keep The Home Fires Burning and an original song Piano For Sale.  It has reached the top 3 in the iTunes Classical Album Charts and has enjoyed radio play on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Wales.

Since release, Ross has gained mainstream attention with support coming from celebrities Craig Revel Horwood, Gaby Roslin, Russell Grant, actor Simon Callow and showbiz legend Nicholas Parsons.

Ross is delighted to be touring his native South Wales with special guest and West End star Sophie Evans from BBC 1’s Over The Rainbow.

HOMECOMING WELSH CONCERT at RWCMD’s Dora Stoutzker Concert Hall

Following his critically acclaimed West End concerts at the London Hippodrome, award-winning musical director Ross Leadbeater returns to his roots in South Wales to celebrate the phenomenal music of the Great British Songbook including a special Welsh celebration of Ivor Novello!

Ross will be at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama’s Dora Stoutzker Concert Hall on Friday 29th January, 2016 at 7:30pm. With Singers and Special Guests to be announced!
