Ross Leadbeater releases Christmas Single!

Award winning singer-pianist Ross Leadbeater is delighted to announce that he is releasing an original Christmas single this year!

“Christmas is my favourite time of year,” says Ross who has fond memories from his childhood with his parents, presents around the tree and singing all those favourite songs!

“You & Me & Our Christmas Tree” is a fun and festive pop song for the holiday season written by the legendary songwriter Barry Mason, who wrote classic hit songs ‘Delilah’, ‘The Last Waltz’ and ‘Here It Comes Again’.

Barry is a five-time Ivor Novello award winner whose songs have been recorded by some of the world’s greatest music icons – including Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Barbra Streisand and Elvis!

Produced and co-written by Ben Robbins, the single captures all the nostalgia of the holiday season with an upbeat pop song that  also references Bing Crosby and Michael Buble!

Ross says, “it’s been so much fun working with Barry and Ben on this – its not going to be easy taking on the X Factor juggernaut but who knows, with support from all my loyal fans – we may just make the charts!”

Ross Leadbeater tours Wales in 2017

Following his critically acclaimed 2016 UK Tour and Edinburgh Festival debut, Ross returns to his roots to tour Wales in 2017.

Ross will be visiting Brecon, Blackwood and Cardiff throughout May/June 2017 and will be joined by special guest Sophie Evans from BBC 1’s Over The Rainbow.    


Following the recent release of his debut EP Great British Songbook which topped the iTunes Classical Album Charts, Ross has enjoyed national radio play on BBC Radio 2, attracting mainstream attention from Elaine Paige, Paul O’Grady and Gaby Roslin.

Ross Leadbeater announces Welsh Tour with special guest Sophie Evans

Following his critically acclaimed solo UK Tour and two week residency at the Edinburgh Festival in August, Ross is delighted to announce that he will be coming home to showcase his debut EP in a 3 date Welsh Tour in September/October.

The debut EP is a personal collection of British songs including classical-crossover arrangements of Pure Imagination and Smile, a cover of Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, a new version of Ivor Novello’s Keep The Home Fires Burning and an original song Piano For Sale.  It has reached the top 3 in the iTunes Classical Album Charts and has enjoyed radio play on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Wales.


Since release, Ross has gained mainstream attention with support coming from celebrities Craig Revel Horwood, Gaby Roslin, Russell Grant, actor Simon Callow and showbiz legend Nicholas Parsons.

Ross is delighted to be touring his native South Wales with special guest and West End star Sophie Evans from BBC 1’s Over The Rainbow.

Debut EP hits Top 3 in iTunes Classical Album Charts

Ross Leadbeater is delighted that following the release of his debut EP, Great British Songbook reached the top 3 in the iTunes Classical Album Charts and is receiving 5* reviews.

Ross has been played on BBC Radio 2’s Elaine Paige Show and on various BBC regional stations including BBC Wales, BBC West Midlands and BBC London.


Ross is currently on a solo UK Tour and looks forward to the official album launch on 29th June at the Pheasantry in London ahead of a two week residency at the Edinburgh Festival in August.

Ross will showcase his debut EP at his live shows which includes artists from Ivor Novello to Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Beatles to Ed Sheeran with sing-along classics and some original material.

Ross Leadbeater announces UK Tour ahead of Edinburgh Festival

Fresh from his critically acclaimed West End shows, Ross Leadbeater the award winning Welsh singer-pianist, embarks on a UK Tour to showcase his debut EP.

Ross Leadbeater’s tour, called the Great British Songbook, has announced five dates across the UK, and will start this month in Wales, at the Blackwood Miners’ Institute.

It will feature Ross’ take on classics from artists such as Ivor Novello and Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as covers from The Beatles, Ed Sheeran and some original material.  After the Welsh leg, it will travel to Birmingham, Manchester, Hastings and London before heading up to the Edinburgh Festival for two weeks in August.

Ross shot to fame in 2008 with the Classical Brit Award winning group Only Men Aloud, releasing two albums with Decca Records, achieving worldwide record sales of over 300,000 and performing alongside artists such as Shirley Bassey, Katherine Jenkins, Bonnie Tyler and Josh Groban.

He recently appeared on the BBC Radio 2 documentary Keep the Home Fires Burning with Simon Callow and Don Black and his television appearances include The Royal Variety Show, The Classical Brit Awards and The One Show.

His debut EP is being produced by the award winning Rupert Christie who has worked with artists ranging from U2 to Coldplay and Jessie J.

Ross said, “I am thrilled to be releasing my debut EP and taking my favourite British songs out on the road. I am looking forward to celebrating the great songs with fans all around the country! ”

Ross joins Fernando Montaño at Hippodrome

Ross is delighted to be joining Fernando Montaño – one of the UK’s leading ballet dancers – in his new Classical Cabaret at the London Hippodrome.  

Fernando is the first Colombian ever to be appointed Soloist with The Royal Ballet and on October 21st he and his talented friends from the worlds of dance, opera and classical music will be coming together to produce a very special evening of entertainment in The Hippodrome Theatre.

‘Fernando Montaño Classical Cabaret’ will be an opportunity to see some of the very best international artists currently working in the UK performing in an intimate and relaxed theatre and the show, which is choreographed and co-produced by Fernando, will be in two halves of approximately 40 minutes each.
